I would rather own a GM over a Chrysler, but having said that, the Dodge Challenger looks great, like a Muscle car should.
The Camaro looks like .... something you would point at and laugh. How could GM screw up so much, they have built some great looking cars In the past, but they have failed miserably with the new Camaro. ![]() |

Hmmm.....neither. I feel that they both are going to be to damn heavy and they will come w/ to large of rims. 20" rims come w/ a 20" tire that need to be replaced which is ungodly costly. The dodge will have better power, but not the numbers to back it up as usual for the dodge team. I mean look at the SRT8 charger, I've seen a stock 2002 camaro SS whoop up on one and that is 100 hp advantage for the dodge.....it's the weight and a sloppy auto tranny that hold it back. The camaro will be way to heavy and underpowered also. Plans so far are a 400hp entry level V8, 425hp step up ( SS model ) and a rare and costly ZL1 model w/ 490-500 hp. So, no thanks I'll pass on both.

If the charger has a stick shift it will be sick, but my dream right now is to get a yellow 09 camaro so I can recreate the ending of transformers and make out with some pretty girl on the hood.

If I remember correctly I do believe that they had plans for a 6 speed manual for the challenger

engine combos are still up in the air, nobody knows for sure yet.
From what the rumors are saying: dodge challenger: V6 = 240HP 245TQ (Dispalcement ??? ) V8 = 425HP 420TQ 6.1 L Hemi Camaro: V6 = 245HP 255TQ (Displacement ??) V8's Most likely The LS4 powerplant V8 # 1 ( Z/28 ) 400hp 425tq V8 #2 ( SS ) 450hp 460tq V8 #3 "If" it comes out will be an LS7 rated at 500hp 490tq and will be the ZL1 Camaro These are rumors from what I hear from both the dodge and chevy.
