Ive never been a mopar guy, but I think the challenger looks better. The stance and profile are pure 60's muscle car. That said, I would own neither - I dont like the retro fad. Id sooner buy a c5 z06 by the time the camaro/challenger come out.

yup yup, you nailed it right there. I have seen A LOT of low cost C5 Zo6's for sale. The price is getting lower and lower w/ all the old guys wanting new C6's and the new Zo6. I saw one the other day, 2003, electron blue, 34,000 miles, mint condition, un-modded for $27,450. It was on the lot that morning and gone by that evening. ![]()

challenger, hands down.
the camro has that nappy caddy grille and those matchbox side mirrors. plus, it's hard o support em when they dropped the ball so hard on it. They really should have released the new camaro 3 years ago when they could have made some money on it. |

I like'em both, but I'll go with the Camaro. Side note: How about moving on to newer designs people, if I trully wanted the look of the older vehicles I'd look for and restore the old ones, the whole retro thing is just getting to me. Not all newer designs have to be bubble or nothing. The past designs were great, can't we just leave them there.....in the past. Pay your R&D/Design teams for what they should be doing; coming up with newer designs etc., not rehashing. No disrespect intended.

Supposedly the Challenger will be available before the Camaro. The Camaro looks decent in the Transformers movie, hec even Jay Leno likes it, he test drove a prototype. Did you guys check out the videos on Youtube on both cars yet ? In any case GM will eventually have to come out with a new design by 2014 or so for the 'Maro and for the 'Vette in 2009 or so. The ZO6's Corvette, forget about buying a new one, have to wait at least a couple of years and get an used one, average price is like $80K and you can only seat two people. I'm telling you, the value of the dollar is going down big time. I spoke with a Dodge salesman and he told me that for a top notch Challenger probably looking at least $40K to $46K, that's the price of a new Corvette a few years ago, what happened ?
