cuz I didnt had space to keep it on my house...I had my M3, my drag crx, 3 cars from my dad and my lil sis`s car...soo it was cuz lack of space :banghead: I loved that car...it had a little bed on the back

I've owned a few dubs in my lifetime. I started out with a '65 bug, followed by a '67 bug with fiberglass front end and an 1835cc with dual Webers. Then after I sold my bugs, I decided to keep moving up through the VW timeline and I purchased an '84 Rabbit GTI. It had a 2.0L (blew that up then swapped in another 2.0L out of a '95 GTI) with C/A intake, MagnaFlow exhaust, mild chip, G-grind cam, Brospeed header, a mutt for suspension, sway bars and a drag tranny. It was pretty quick, but something unmentionable happened to it and it (motor) blew up (R.I.P. Rabid Rabbit). So I sold that and kept moving forward. Today I'm the proud owner of an 03 24V VR6 GTI, complete with the MQ350 6-speed tranny, cold air exhaust (thrown together for $20!!), and a MagnaFlow exhaust with high-flow resonator (sounds soooooooo good!!). I'm not sure if it'll get tuned any more than it is right now, cause I want to keep it relatively stock, with all of the seats in, as my daily driver (maybe a nice suspension). It's still pretty quick, it can definitely hold it's own against a lot of cars, especially on the freeway. I love VWs, but I am not very fond of the new ones. I feel whoever designed the new ones must be an admirer of Chris Bangle's job of butchering the new Beemers. I'm an Mk IV and earlier V-Dub fanatic.

i thouhgt phaetons only came in V8 and 12

Nope. They come in V-6, V-8, V-10, and W12.

I have owned 3 VWs in my time first i owned a jetta GTI 16valve then a 1979 mk1 golf GTI i think you guys will know it as a Rabbit and a Corrado G60 supercharged i will look out some pics and post them soon :thumb:
