just woke up to a phone call from allen. They pulled a head off and motor is blow. I have no idea what happened but he mentioned something with two pistons was screwed up. The good news is the guy who put the internals together is fixing the motor free of charge, since the motor has only 75 miles on it

Try letting the motor break in this time before beating the piss out of it... Why not go with a ls1, probably makes as much power as that 347 stock.

bottem bearings are blown out from being to hott, some pistons are loose in the walls.. Motor is being sent back out to detroit tomorow to get fixed, so we might get to have it back out before winter but not planning on it

We have the motor back, its a whole new block with all new bearings. Turned out the harmonic balancer was to blame, but its weird since we didnt even notice a balance problem at all but o well. im about to make my way to his house to help him get this motor and tranny back in, then we getting it towed to his dads shop to finish it up again for the second time around. Sucks we'll be out in 20degree weather but its worth it. Ill have some pics soon to. but for the mean time hes a video of a buddy with another stang doin a burnout.

BAD NEWS AGAIN!!! they got the whole motor back together, filled everything with fluid.. Motor was completely together ready to run. They crank it and have no oil pressure.. Turns out the People who built the motor didnt put the oil pump in correctly and the distributor rotor isnt touching it to make it spin. Supposubly you can even look down in the hole and notice it. So allen called the guy sunday night and asked him about it and the guy said it must have moved when it was being shipped.. umm.. NOT!! the guy doesnt wanna take responsibilty for something he did wrong. So wed. night were all going over and pulling the motor back out "again", fixing the oil pump problem, installing motor back in and hopefully starting it. We'll also be in a garage this time in a shop so it should go alot smoother.
