heres large pics of my 91 LX drag car. i bought it from a lady in SC. it had sat underneath a willow tree with the windows down for about 3-4 years she said, and i believed her. i rebuilt it myself (with miniscule help from my boss) in about two weeks, he corrected me on that one.good times. i wish maine had a lot of strips up here, then i could drive again. unfortunately i dont have the pic of it being delivered on the truck. a couple good files got corrupted.

^ yeah i know, i dont know why that was in my head. the door said 88. so if im wrong this time you can paddle your ass to Goose Creek SC and check for yourself.

as i said, i had a limited amount of time to get it ready. the only chance i had to run it in its slow street class was close, so i made it as presentable as i could. now i live in maine and its sitting on blocks in SC.

Looks like a good start for a project drag car !!!! Good drag platform at least. Time to get that carb covered up w/ a new cowl hood !!! lol.

You're in Maine or Goose Creek?

Were you in the service? I thought that was the only reason anyone would live in Goose Creek was the weapon station or Nuke school. I was a nuke for the Navy.
My buddy and I bought an 84 GT from a lady in Goose Creek in 99 for 400 bucks with a spun bearing. We turned it into a mid 12 stock suspension rustoleum hot rod... man i miss being a teenager.

What's Maine like in the summer?

I got offered a summer job up there by Bangor....

for the record. i live in maine now, my car is in SC, where i visit occasionaly ,under a portable garage thingy, on blocks ,with the carb and filter on a shelf, inside a tote, inside the house. got all that? and i was running high 16's. not much, but i didnt do much to it. and i never really had the time to test and tune. very fun though. plus no license needed on a closed track. woohoo!

it used to be fun when i was a teeneger too. now the weather is rain all the time and the cops are *******s. bangor is even worse.
