I read on autoblog that Honda is trying to make the new Acura nsx run faster around the 'ring than the Nissan GT-R.

And you are comparing it to a tall/long car thats not even considered a direct competitor to the gtr. Why stop there? why not compare it against a hummer?

Yes, I have had a chance to sit in an nsx before. You realize that a C6 is just 3" taller and 4" longer than an nsx. So is it considered a "tiny" car too?

The future iteration of the nsx is destined to be a direct competitor of the GTR. Since official specs are not avail, I posted pics of the previous version just to illustrate the size difference.

The evo is not a direct competitor to neither the NSX nor the GTR. So I fail to grasp why it matters how close in size the evo is to anything in this discussion. A C6 or 997 are direct competitors, which is why I added specs for them as well.

fair enough. however, id be extremely surprised if the next nsx came out anywhere near the size of the gtr. any way you slice it, it is a big, heavy car.

Bigger compared to previous offerings of the same car and bigger than current competition are two separate things.

The Skyline and Supra have always been larger than the NSX and judging by automotive trends(Newer gen. vehicles are larger overall than older gen.) this should be expected. Imagine how the GTR would look next to an RX7

the nsx is the right size, i´ve sat in one, and if it didnt have such high seats it could be very spacious for people w/ more than 6ft2, so it doenst need to be any bigger

sports cars are meant to be has compact has possible, not a fat bastards like the evo and the gtr.

But the new NSX is gonna be has fat has them:
