well my buddy "has the red lowered pathfinder" recently bought a 01 grand prix GTP.. We spent a few hours one day clay-baring the whole thing, he's never done it before so it was time for him to learn lol. We cleaned the wheels all up and everything and i did the interior. its a super clean car and i fell in love with it the day i seen it.. my parents used to own a 00 gtp but silver and i loved it and still think ill buy it back one day.. but anways we went out a few nights ago and had some fun in it, let me remind you its not stock.. we beat some mercades 2 door somthin, have no idea what it was but the guy was getting pissed cause he couldnt even get close to winning, raced a gto ls2 and it was pretty even. and on the way home we got next to a nismo 350z which i've never seen around here, and wow that car sounded nice as hell.. that was a good race to, started at 45 and ended around 125 and it was dead even.. shoulda brought the camera..

Thats a 245/60/15 on there, makes the tire look flat cause its so wide..

nice, i wish my grand prix was a gtp, you can make those cars damn fast with very little modification, with just a pulley, cold air and an exhaust you can start smoking 4.6 and 5.0 mustangs

Never been a big fan of grand prix's though. It's ass sags like a fat middle aged woman's.

actually the gtp isn't all that fast even with "boltons" the 5.0's 5 speeds still are faster. not by much even with a shitty driver.

not entirly true... we went out tonight and raced a few people.. we caught up to a 96 mustang GT 5.0 and it was a 5 speed and it was racing a stratus r/t hahah but ya we got involved and walked all over the 5.0.. i wish i woulda got it on vid but all i kno is it had exhaust and some big fattys out back.

hahaa. let me rephrase myself, the 5.0 is faster but NOT by much

yins can haul 4 people and groceries and still keep up or beat

I think between the two it would come down the the driver. Not so great a driver in the manual stang would lose against the auto gtp.

A friend has a GTP that has: pulley swap, full exhaust, gears, tuning, cold air kit and he runs in the mid 12's thru the 1/4 mile. they are no slouch.
