But once again, I feel the need to point out something. Sorry for being picky.
I'm almost completely sure that the first two escort pictures you have (not the MKII) are pre-WRC spec. They're probably 1996 models or early '97.

Sorry I make a big deal out of it. I'm not trying to be obnoxious.

You might be right.

Actually you got me confused now

Im pretty sure they raced a WRC, now if it was that car upgraded to WRC spec or a another one is what I dont know. Because after the end of the WRC category at national level here they still raced a Escort so it could only be a Gr.A, not a WRC.

I´ll ask them next time I´ll make a visit.

So remirez to answer your question, your right, its not the WRC

That one, they bought and after the demise of the category in Portugal they sold it again. The car in the pictures came first and they kept it all along until now, and its a Gr.A, infact it won the Rally Open this weekend for cars that have expired homologation.
