About the engine, which turbo are you using since you blown the older stock one?

I was ashame to take a picture of the engine bay as its not as clean as it usually is

Im running a Garrett T5 with almost zero lag! I blew 2 "stock" ones, the first i believe is a Mitsubish1t 13c, second was the garrett T3, and now im running the T5, which i freaking love, its not a gigantic turbo, but it does more than its asked for

Look at the shine on this baby

According to my calculation with this new turbo and 18-20psi of boost, i am doing 300rwhp indeed, i dont know if its super accurate, but according to all i have done the number seems right, the T5 is twice the size of the T3 and it spools sooooo damn fast! I will be putting some bigger injectors and MSD ignition system! I was doing 204.7 i believe with the T3 at 1bar (14.7psi). And the world turned around trice when the t5 was dropped in I just couldnt believe how fast and wild this engine is. I will also put a K-gte cam shaft which will give me massive torque above 5000rpm

I dont like doing cheap things lol, if i dont have the money to do something properly i wont try to get around it just to have something going on, i rather save up and do things the way they are supposed to be

My transmission is almost dead and that is going to be changed, the engine is just too powerful for this aw71 tranny (which is actually verrrrry smooth and slick when in good condition) it is a 3 speed with 4th overdrive. Im looking into either a Mustang T5 transmission or maybe a Getrag if the adpating plate isnt too much of a b1tch.

Thanks alot for your comments boys

Thanks alot guys

PS: having a clean ride doesent happen in one day, i have washed it like a nut at least 50 times (note ive had it for about a year) i did the engine shampooing like 3 times, with lots of Simple Green and toothbrush work, i took me about 10 power washes and crazy amounts of finger cracking rubbing to get the rims clean. I compound, clay bar, compound, polish, polish moah, moah polish moah waxing moah buffing... To top it off, red is the hardest colour to keep, and hardest colour to bring back when shot. i still have two spots on the car that i am fighting with !! Thank god they are not in a visible area :P

Hell i see alot of newer golf's with faded out reds, beemers also, if your red you have to wax it good when its new, and buff wax buff wax as many times you possibly can.
Any colour that requires compounding (unless its for a scratch or little thing ex: door handle, key hole area) is a car thats been neglected. If you waxed it at the beginning, swirls and light highway scratches do not appear. Car washes are also major scratchers!!!

thanks!

my brother had a 1999 escort gti about 4 years ago.near new.and the paint on it after 6months was total shite.faided down one side.and it had to be waxed and polished near every other week. way to much time spent on it,well just to drive the thing.when u dont really love the car.

but hey it was a ford.
