Sure bugeye wrx's look awesome, but it's a minor difference when compared to another nicely built STi. I'd still take either.

and if it is why looks really odd

GM owns Saab, and has some ownership in Subaru. They took the WRX wagon and put a Saab badge on it, along with some Saab styling, mainly the front end, the suspension, and the interior.

This will explain it all..... Saab 9-2x Aero

The Saab 93 and 95 are based on Vauxhall Vectras which are part of the GM group
