No, the airbag didn't go off. The sensor on that model is mounted right behind the hood latch. That part of the car did not receive any of the impact or "blunt force" from the pole. I'm glad to hear so many of you cooperate with the laws and wear your seatbelt. I may only be 19, but this is a real eye opener for me. Thank you all for your concern.
