Me and my son are building a 'Pinewood Derby' car for him being in boy scouts, just took these pics after the first coat of paint. He drew the shape he wanted and i cut it out with a band-saw, then sanded it down, primered it and sanded some more. Will sand in between each coat of paint to get the smoothest finish possible
More pics when i get more done.After the paint process is all done, we have to get it weighed ( no more than 5 ounces total weight ) and add weighs if needed. The screw and coat hangar are for paint purposes only ![]() ![]() ![]()

I always put weeble people in mine. My friend won one year because he made a custom one that was like a foot and half long, then they changed the rules and said you had to make it from the original block.
Maybe you can help with an argument I had today with my girlfriend: when do you graduate from cub scouts(fun) to boy scouts (lamest waste of time ever)? |
