Default DIY K&N Intake install e46 M3 :)

Hell yes! finally got my intake delivered today around 6'ish and started installing around 7:30....it was a pretty easy install except that it was hard getting the intake to hook onto the plenum nice and tight, and the heatshield was a b*tch to get under the hosing but its all good!!
sorry for crappy pics....family member took those shots...

ITS FINALLY HERE!!!

Backin up from garage to get some sunshine

Stock

OEM vs K&N

I wish the strut bar can move on its own lol

After a few unscrewing...there that goes...

onto the floor

In goes the heatshield

the hardest part....getting it in right and tight..

Finished.....

Looks good and not to hard to install.

Now you need to give the car a good detail
Does it feel like it has any noticeable power gains?

Yeah the key to easy HP gains in BMWS is intake, exhaust, and chip and it will make a huge difference

This is true, unlike my Honda which needs a-hundred grand under the hood to run 12's
