Original Shelby AC Cobra

One of my proffessors at school is a car collector and we went to his house to see what he dad. His most valuable car is an original Shelby AC Cobra which he bought brand new when he was in college for $7500. The car is all aluminum so it dents very easily and so he had a lot of bodywork done to it and had it repainted for $9500 to the current color since it was kind of beat up because he drove it alot. The engine is also rebuilt, he told us that he used to race it alot to make the monthly payments when he was young. He fired up the Cobra for us and it was FUKING LOUD AS HELL. He also had a viper, a hot rod, and some other old school car and was restoring an original shelby mustang gt500.

more pictures of the cobra. the black hot rod was built from the ground up by him, he just bought the fiber glass shell, he designed all the suspension and said it took him like 6 months to do all the calculations for the suspension geometry .

here is the other old car. I really liked the hot rod he designed and he said it run really well when he tested it. It just had to get dismantled, painted, and upholstered and it would be ready. He had a couple of engines laying around the garages, mostly built american V8. I think he said the gt500 had a 428 instead of a 427 or something like that which made it extra rare and expensive, this engine was just laying on the floor already restored.
