too bad the Atom crashed during its first 1/4 run ... sand on the track caused it to skid and crash...

there where like 20 of em, kinda got sick of em... they did good in the autocross, but kinda did nothing on the drag, the only things they beat were a few minis and a 206 RC... there was no room for cars like the s2000 at the drag... allot of high power cars were racing... cant compete with a 600Hp corolla...

lets see what else was there...
the saleen driver joined the autocross for no apparent reason... got the worst time of all, there was no room for him to press gas at all... but the funny thing was that he didn't do that well on the 1/4 too ... if im not mistaken he had a procharger or a blower installed... cuz when he drove the car whistled like no s\c i have ever heard... once parked it gave out a sequential triple level whistling sound... ^_^

I couldnt think of a better way to spend £50,000 that this....

but i tell you guys that lil corolla bugger was F@#&ing FAST....
9 seconds flat if i remember correctly... he killed a few skylines...

oh yah there were a few 11 - 12 sec Civics too ... they rocked...

what else... the fastest evo was a Black Evo from Oman... i think it was an evo 6... not sure... but that bullet shifted so hard i couldn't breath... a funny car would sound like a bee compared to that evo...

no doubt, after watching High Octane 5 where the Corolla was racing the R32, i was impressed:thumb:
