look at the SC, the LS IS and GS they all follow engine sizes with models

that LS your showing is the Engine they use to Make the IS430

which is absolutely killer, since all the IS is missing is an engine!!!

and YEAH you can buy it like that, the black and red is the ONe Chip Foose and some other dude made with Rod Millen they showed it on Discovery and it was amazing.
I remember seeing it at the Lexus Dealer in Montreal, it was just black, and they sell it for 15-20k more (v8 setup), something like that! but it is sweet as hell

i find it to be a super nice car well garnished, only lacking the v8

But for a company that claims that they only used Toyota finest employees, and use as a company slogan "the endless persuit of perfection" or some crap like that I think its embarassing.

They arent bad cars, but for their price i´d like more than a MB copycat, specially when in Japan they are sold as Toyotas.

And Mercedes never followed Lexus. But dont get me wrong, I´ve driven a IS200 and they are good, although lacks a bit of torque, but the rest of the model range is mediocre for the competition standart.

althogh some lexus cars are copys and what not is's ive always loved i was gonna buy a is300 instead of the z but for reasons stated above i didnt get it. ironic thing was, when i drove the z off the lot of the dealer a is300 was parked right next to it.

Clarkson spoke of this in one of his programs a while ago, theres a hell of alot of jap cars copied off european ones, an i agree it is embaressing
