TR8 must be fun, light, small wheelbase and a V8....
Escorts are tipically tailhappy ( actually thats the only way you corner with them, sideways...) and who has driven them says that they teach you how to drive The 131 Abarth is hard as hell to drive, but it goes like hell too... The 205 and Quattro are a no-brainer, everyone knows what they are capable Sierras where very balanced cars either in RWD or AWD forms, and theyr engine goes on and on, much do to the way they where built But I didnt knew that someone rallied a SD1 (Vitesse?) but it must be insane!!! I mean, it has the same engine has the TR8, its heavy and rwd, I just wich it brakes well, cuz when you go flat out on that and you have to stop... its gonna be hairy... :eek3: Its like rallying a M5... |

Yeah British Leyland the mother company of Triumph and Rover only rallyed the TR7 for a couple of years then dropped it in favour of the the Rover SD1. But that was short lived only a couple of years to then British Leyland Dropped out of Rallying all together until they changed there name to Austin Rover in the mid 1980s and developed the Mighty MG Metro 6R4 Group B car. :thumb:
