Just as the big-block GT500 from 1968 was a step up from the GT350, the 2007 Ford Shelby GT500’s 475 horsepower, 5.4-liter V-8 is a step up from the 4.6-liter V-8 used in yesterday’s SVT Mustang Cobra.

but wait can someone say SLEEPER....the car looks like a stock mustang...but power of the shelby...

no wait its still ugly and meh i wouldn't waste my money...for the price rather get me a beat up 69 shelby and fix it up

yeah thats so ridiculous... why come out with it if its so stocky looking, i thought the point of SHelby was to make it look intense and sound hardcore ... i'd get the standarts 6 cylinder mustang and make it the way i like it

cause visibly ford is blind and i think they're struck by syphilis or something

ford should Sponsor komodor and bring back the X4rti

Actualy I think it looks good not too overstated and looks alot like the GT500's of the past including that cool lil reverse hoodscoop (I wonder for an intercooler maybe???) for making it more aerodynamic for flow of air through the rad and also over the car (sorta like what WRC Subarus have been doin for years)

Bingo, function over form. This is Shelby we are talking about, pretty much everything on the car is functionnal, no fake sidescoop, etc.

Even back in 1967, Shelby didn't like Ford's vision of the Shelby Mustang, so he stopped producing it with Ford. Carrol Shelby was an all out race car driver, thus pure bred race cars.

The 1967 Shelby's were more civilized and sported numerous luxury options, which seemed to appeal to buyers. These would be the last Shelby Mustangs actually built by Shelby-American. All future models would be built by Ford with little Shelby involvement.

take the stripes and any badging off and you've got a killer Sleeper :thumb:

Just found another Shelby. This ones looks Bad Ass!!!

It will offer a modified V6-engined 2006 Ford Mustang, dubbed the CS 6. Packed with a NOVI-1200 Supercharger from Paxton Automotive Corp., the CS 6 is destined to be the next great sports car from Shelby Automobiles pumping out an incredible 350+ horsepower. called the Shelby CS 6 Mustang concept.

I think if they did something to the wheels like the ( I think its the GT racing wheels that look like gun metal cragar ss) It would look alot better
