Personaly, I´m not sure if I like this new look, but maybe it will be a matter of time till I get used to it. I just hope that performance will make up for this strange looks.

God no! Dont start with that "Ohhhh.. it looks like the Vette" thing! Everything looks like the Vette! Maybe its the Vette looks that are so common?

The Vette came out first. I also thinkt the new 2003 up Viper looks like a Vette (or vise versa). Its a trend everybody has gotten into with new sprots cars. These llok-a-like cars have no soul. The designers should be shot for not being to come up with something unique. It seems to be getting worse, pretty soon they will all be the same freakin car and all you are going to pay for is a differant badge. Just like buying a Benz, wheter you pay 55,000 or 140,000 they all look like the same car ( unless you can decode the sl,s,slk system.) It just seem like older cars have more pesonality and style. I like the new "modern style" sports cars but there only seems to be one style of "modern" sports car. I cant wait for this trend to end.

Thats true, but on other post I made about the Alfa Romeo 8C Concept, everybody said it copied the Vette, when in fact it came out a year before the it.

Car designers nowadays are very influenciated by 60´s styles, with very muscled soft lines and broad shoulders. In the sixties car design where also very similar between diferent brands.

Apparently it will be called 599 GTB. Here´s more info on it, from an official press release in rsportscars.com
