I just came back and thought I'd bring you this news... It was a very weird and unlucky day for the japanese and also other races, for example Rhis Millen F..ed up the GTO 2 days before and wasn't able to race.... o yea, but Rhis's dad was competing w/ his Rx8.
Then more ironical KEN NOMURA!!! YES NOMU KEN CRASHED!!!!. that was very sad, I wanted to cry. Then the japs make a lot of errors and basically disqualified themselves allowing USA to get to the final where the lucky newbie w/ the Falken mustang wins the 1st place, I mean not even Samuel Hubinette, nor Chris Pfeifer got the the semi's, nor any of the top Jap drifters, the final race was decided by 2 newbies, I guess it was their lucky day, lol. Scroll down for pics: Again... this is what made me cry :mecry: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...r/DSC02793.jpg Video Mister Millen drifting (54 years old): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...r/DSC02801.jpg Tsuchia setting up the cones  http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...r/c43e6397.jpg him on screen http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...r/DSC02769.jpg Monkey signing some autographs http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...r/DSC02759.jpg How about this hot Yokohama chick: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...r/DSC02758.jpg The TOP SECRET G35 w/ the 4.5L TT was there, I took great pics of it http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...r/DSC02748.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...r/2f6cf46b.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...r/553d57ef.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...r/cab3bf23.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...r/DSC02741.jpg The Charger drift car (it didn't race tho): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...r/DSC02761.jpg and last, but not least, another LS1 swapped Rx7 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...r/DSC02755.jpg Last edited by r34drifter; 17 Dec 2005 at 08:10 pm. |

Sakuma in the Silver S15 *the 'newbie from japan'* is definatly not a newbie, he placed in the top ten this year in D1GP. JR Gittin, a newbie? Factory backed Falken driver in a 600hp Mustang. A newbie, yeah right. I'm glad JR won, finally the americans are the champions. Oh yeah, it's Alex Pfeiffer, not Chris. |

About the finalists, they are newbies, you said it, they both grew this year in D1GP, you cannot say they are at the level of others like Rhis Millen, Ken nomura, Kazama, Daijiro, Kumakubo, etc... no offense, but Vaughn got lucky his competidors messed up, it wasn't that he overdrifted them, they just messed up in their own. I would have been more glad if USA had won for example last year when Rhis basically got the final pass stolen from him... ![]() |

I am not the only one who thinks this way, this topic is polemic itself Here check it out, read the main post congratulating Jr. for his win You will notice in some posts people think about the same way I do and you're reading an All Pro American thread http://www.drifting.com/forums/showt...8&page=1&pp=15 |
