Nice ZJ man.

Well I figured i'd update yalls on my plans for my XJ.
add another inch or so of lift to get 3"+, RE Upper and Lower Contol arms (gettin them cheap from a friend cause he's gettin Claytom long arms), 31 Swamper LTB's mounted on 15x8 "soft 8" wheels, 4.40 gears, detors rock rails/stiffners. and a bunch of other stuff i cant remember

Just a quick update - getting some 33's this week, they're on the way here from Oklahoma right now... can't wait til they get here I'm running with the low CoG and big tires idea - keeping the existing ~4" of lift and trimming the fenders. Already finished the fronts and damn does it look mean, the rears are a bit more of a hassle since the flares seem to have adhered themselves to the vehicle over the course of 18 years.. heh.

mv420 - what did you do for the inner fender linings? Did you retain the stockers and bend over some metal from the fenders to hold them in place, or did you fab up some new ones? I'd be fine running around without mine if it weren't for the fact that I play in the mud more than anything and I really don't feel like accumulating 50lbs of mud in each fender, lol.

theres always an open seat.

and 88, if your talkin about the plastic liner, then ditch it, it's also a good idea to run a swimming noodle between the fender and wheel well. Kinda like this.

Sweet dude, thanks! I'll pick some of those up after work. Pics to come once
a) I get my computer power supply replaced
b) I find my camera
c) I can legally drive again (warrant for missed traffic ticket.. whoops )

It looks reaaaaallly weird right now with the "31's" (**** you ProComp with your under-sized tires not actually being what the sidewall says... 29.5" in reality.. pfft). 33's gonna look shaweet, especially the flexy pics with the swaybars gone. Next mod - bumpstops!

my friend mike is at 5" and runnin Rubi tires and it looks funny, but he's adding another inch of lift when he gets his Clayton long arms and runnin 34" LTB's.

I'm hoping by the fall to have the Full-Traction long arm and 34" LTB's

Thanks! the buggy is a kick in the A$$!!! doesn't have the turbo on it right now because of a bad oil seal. i figure once i get that rebuilt and swap in a festiva motorsports cam...... it will be a LOT more fun!

Traction Issuez- Thanks for the compliment. we try to have some fun. I'll have some more up after this weekend probably. gonna go out and shoot our new x-mas presents (M4/A3 AR-15 and the plinker Ruger Mark III .22) and hit a couple trails. Lots of rain lately, so that means LOTS of mud.
