The Bugatti 16.4 Veyron is ready, and it has been presented to the media.

The jornalist in this magazine reached 402Km/h in the VW Ehra-Lessien test track, wich was wet. You can reach 375km/h, but to go any further you need to turn a second ignition key, on the driver side in the door sill, to reach 400km/h. Then the car´s computer sets in Topspeed mode, in wich it verifies every component under stress in the car. If somethings wrong (like in the first attempt of the magazine, in wich the exaust system reached 975º) it goes into a safer mode and the rear spoiler lifts and lowers the speed, or if the problem is serious the engine power is simply cut off. That rear spoiler when is lifted at 375km/h it creates a desaceleration of 0.6g by itself. The car has a carbon-ceramic brakes, wich in the front wheels has a size of 400mm (better then this only the Bentley Continental GT wich has 405mm).
16cylinders, 4 turbos 1001hp, 1250nm but it can reach 3001hp easely. Rear tyres are 265/35 R 20 front 365/25 R 21 Rear
It as a consumption of 1liter per kilometer in top speed, wich means that the tank goes empty in 12minutes

100km/h-0 in little over 31meters. 0-100km/h - 2.5sec 0-300km/h - 16.2secs. Weight- 1880kilos Price 1.16million Euros

how fast is 405 kmh? like high 200 mphs?

why would you have to turn a second ignition key? wouldnt that cause you to wreck because you lost concentration or do you have to do it before you start your high speed run?

No, you turn it before you start the highspeed run. Actualy Bugatti as something called "Manual for Highspeed runs" wich says you should first do a check to the external of the car, as you would do to an aircraft, and that you should do a reconasaince of the road/track before it.

100Kmh is 60MPH. This goes 240+MPH.
