Default my 240sx hood latched failed at 160s.

IT was pretty scary having my hood fly towards me.

and now im sad it has become like this, no hood or sunroof. Now i have to fiberglass hood and thank god i had a spare sunroof glass.

I still feel sorry about my buddy who was with me, he's got some scratches from it.

Im canadian so it would 160kms not fast . How it busted, is the hood tryed to fly back but was forced down by the hood hinges. I should of taken a pic before it was tied the whole thing was way out of shape, but then you dont think about that when you see the hood and sunroof break.

Probably have better luck driving trucks they never seem to die or break on me.

I'll just use a shop vac and it should be fine thank god my 240 is bare.

The only way my windshield must of surivive was me braking asap and the welding on the hood frame thingy was rusty. so the hood must of been really fexiable

that sucks. That has happend to my freind quite a few times on quite a few different cars all with me in it.(now what kind of bad luck is that!?)
It sucks. First time it happend we where in his moms cavilier doing picking something up for her and we went over a bump and the hood flew up and smacked right in to the windshield. I about crapped my pants. lol
then a few months later the same thing happend to his old camaro, hood latch broke and hood came up and again, broken windshield. Thank GOD he saw it coming and started braking to slow its mommentum, other wise the huge and heavy hood would have probably went threw the windshield.
So, he got a fiberglasshood and well.. happend again, fortunately it just popped off and flew in the air.. then gently landed right side up in a patch of grass leaving us to wonder if god was just playing a little joke on him.. hehe
