Default M3 Super charged and Turbo changed

Engine: BMW S50, Supercharged & Turbocharged
Boost: 1.5 Bar
Power: Estimated 600 hp & 600 Nm of torque

The car is still being tuned (and tamed!) so the above is subject to change, but Sav reckons there's another 40% hiding in there. The car was briefly boosted to 2.0 Bar but it's simply not possible to drive at this setting. We actually had to detune it to make it useable!

Question...
how is the layout of the turbocharge and supercharge on the engine, i mean, how they are all connected and working?

I don't see any inlet piping work done yet hence why asking...

am i mistaken er will it give the bimmer power in both the top and bottom end? and will the supercharger lag down the turbo.. and vise versa?

Default Good question

Well

I spoke to the guys and and far as i know, that is why they supercharged the beemer to get that turbo spooling up faster.

You guys must see thing thing in real life dude.

ITS SICK!

he puts hes foot flat in 5th and that supercharger gets going and then BAM! the turbo kicks in and all hel breaks lose.

Starts spinning on the dyno!

But the best is when that turbo spools. WOW what a sound!

seems kinda pointless to fit a Centrifugal SC for "bottom end" as they don't exactly make much boost at low revs. It seems to me that it would be mroe logical to run a roots or twin screw for low end torque. None-the-less, still pretty sweet to see people attempting twin-charging.
