It has LSD you amateur. I bet your a ricer
The acronym LSD stands for Limited Slip Differential. In laymens terms it means each wheel should recieve the same amount of torque, all depends on what type of LSD it is. That is why both wheels are spinning, and hence the reason the car is 'skating' around once the car takes off and is accelerating. If it didnt have an LSD it would only spin one wheel and would not 'skate' around and would result in a slow qtr mile time. You girls have a lot to learn! ![]() Last edited by South; 18 Aug 2004 at 08:14 am. |

he's probly running a 3.73 LSD he needs an M3 4.10 for that turbo, and probly some wider tires. But ya Im not a noob, and i damn well know E30's, considering i own one. but ya turbo'd E30's with too much power tend to have traction issues due to their not so wide tires and light ass weight.

Why would he need a 4.1:1? He already has traction problems which would be increased even further by installing a shorter ratio. Top end would be sacrificed and he may cross the qtr in the wrong gear and not enough revs.
