cool car, but why drop a beemer motor in it? they came with a 351 windsor.

I thought they came with a 351 Clevo!

Either way I would have stuck with the Ford motor.

the.. fact is: only engines a pantera came with were 351cleveland,
and no more.

could be that bmw's engines are engineered a tiny bit better, or that he had a beat up bmw with perfectly fine engine and the pantera was blown, or he had a new 351 and just wasted $$

There's no doubt that the BMW motor would be engineered better. But the Clevos in the Pantera aren't the poverty pack regular Cleveland. And in a car like that (I love them!) I would have thought it best to keep its original configuration. But as is often said- each to their own.
