Nice car. Wasn't a fan of the Z4 convertible but the coupe looks great.

I'm in love! What an awesome M Coupe. I've always liked the Z3 M coupes but this Z4 M coupe is better.

The E85 chassis and the S54 engine, a match made in heaven . I had the opportunity to sit in one at the training center in Atlanta, nice car. I especially liked the carbon fiber dash trim, really wakes up the interior. :thumb:

E85 chassis? I work with BMWs at my job and I've never heard of that one?

What an idiot the e85 is the z4.

Im really disappointed with the new BMW styling, once again its a story of Concepts and the constant need for old men to look cool in their rides. BMWs use to be something of grace and sublte body lines and simplicity. Now all these crazy curves and confusing body lines, oh and dont get me started on these new front ends, are just a waste in my Opp. "I reminice about the days of ol' just like that old kinda ROCK N ROLL"!!

Well I feel the that same way with Subaru's new design theme. I hate the Tribeca with its Nissan Altima headlamps and upside down Alfa grille.

Default E-85 refers to....

The number given to the projekt.Yes with a "k".It is a german designation within the B.M.W. group to specify platforms or "chassis'".I know because I work at Plant Spartanburg in South carolina in the E-53 Body shop...."X-5"for those of you on the fence about the performance and looks.NO PICTURES of this car do it good justice.I was leasing a 2005 Z-4 Roadster 3.0 Alpine White with the Beige Interior and top and I didnt really like the styling that much. But this car is beautiful in person. And to the person that works with B.M.W.s and doesnt know about the chassis nomenclature...reconsider who you call names.

I was not calling anyone an idiot here, I was calling myself the idiot. BMW's parts film (ETK) does not list the Z4 as an E85 chassis. it also does not list the X5 as an E53, or the Z3 as an e36/7.
