when the body senses major injuries like that it can contrict major blood vessels. also, i think the guys taking care of him have applies tourniquets

During my time as a Marine I saw 2 accidental shooting discharges from 2 powerful weapons. 1st, a 12. gauge shot gun got hung up on a Marines gear on his utility belt and wen he went to readjust the shotgun the trigger was caught on another piece of gear and ended up shooting a 3" magnum slug into his armpit.....TALK ABOUT A LOT OF BLOOD.....the young Marine died from blood lose and the puddle was huge. 2nd was a jammed .50 cal machine gun that the operator told the range officer that it had been jammed after the round was fired so the chamber was cleared. when the officer pushed the charging handle to the rear (he was at the front of the gun) the jam came free and there was indeed a round chambered and when the bolt assembly came flying forward it set the round off 6" from the range officers chest. Needless to say he died as well, w/ a hole the size of a grapefruit in his chest....there was a pool of blood about 10 ft. in diameter. Both I witnesses first hand.

I might have to call fake on the arms ripped off vid....even if they did apply turniqute to the wounds, the initial pool of massive bleeding would be there.
