Hey i didn't feel like looking for this to see if its a repost, cuz i don't care bout the video. I just wanted to know some info. Me and a friend watched it and were like WTF??? So was everyone ok, or what happened??

come down to the track i can get you a job for a day. all you have to do is retreive a bike if it crashes. what could go wrong?

I read somewhere the corner worker got ripped in half when the bike hit him, or at the very least had catastrophic soft tissue damage in his midsection...

I believe he died.

I have worked the corners at road atlanta during the AMA superbike races numerous times. It can get pretty nasty at times.:thumb:

Its funny, I've been in a few major accidents with my bikes in the years I've been riding, but everytime I find myself standing over an accident victim I find myself intensely bothered seeing them in pain and wishing I could trade with them. I know this may sound funny, but in all my wrecks I can only remember 2 that caused me a lot of pain, and I would rather be in that pain than to see someone else in it. Its harder for me to see it than to deal with it myself.

I cant see the video, but if this is the crash where a bike went down coming out of a turn and then a corner worker was hit trying to get to him I was told he survived with only slight injuries. I have no way to confirm that myself though.

That's an old vid.

From what I remember nobody actually died but everyone was torn up real badly and the one guy suffered serious brain damage.

There were dozens of forums talking about it for months, a few of the guys new one of the riders involved in the wreck.

this video goes back awhile and the corner worker did in fact die......for anyone that races or even does TD's those corner workers have a very dangerous job...
