just 202 for a 1000cc turbo bike? i've got a turbo busa vid where the guy wheelies to 140 then gets to what looks like (judging by the tach because the speedo stops at 220) about 250 or so...thats still fast but i was expecting more

A Busa is faster than a 1000 on the highway. The busa is 1300cc. Also, are you sure the busa video isn't in kmh?

No I know the video I have seen it and its deff MPH and it is somwhere around 240-250mph.

Nope. I own a busa. They do about 175-194+ from the factory (Depending on year). Plus some are governed. Which is removable. And they are TOTALLY capable of 240+ Mph.

rich yancy went 250 mph on maxton north carolina on a turbocharged
suzuki hayabusa making 500 horsepower with stock weight. so say its definetly possible to go that fast.i believe thats the east coast timing associations record for maxton including cars.

Yes, busas are fastest from factory. Well, 202 is fast enough i think, it takes balls to go that kind of speed on a freeway!

i was about to say i think some of you were missing the point. 240-250 is FAST. 202 is still pretty effing fast, especially on 2 wheels. a stock gsxr1000 is regular length as opposed to a busa that has a bit of a stretch to it. you can roll the throttle on a 1000 and pull into a wheelie-stock. imagine that with a turbo.

The Speedometer is inaccurate. The Gear ratios where changed in the tranny.
It made it look faster than it was.
