All I can think is that his legs wouldn't stand the pressure by the bike so he let go...

I think marek is right, I think he was sitting backwards and the tire got traction and kaboom.

It's possible that he just leaned forward too much, and since he was sitting backwards on the bike, this would shift more weight to the rear tire and it might catch traction. But it's real hard to tell from that distance. Pretty nasty crash.

And I think the guy that got hit was just confused.

He was not sitting backwards. He was doing so called "Suicide burnout". He was standing in front of the bike and doinf burnout. He prooly let some gas of and the tire got grip and that's what happened. Or he let off the front brake. There is a thread about it on stuntlife.com

He was doing a suicide burnout, where you stand in front of the bike while doing a burnout, either he let go of the front brake or the rear tire got some traction and lifted him straight up.

Sitting on the front wheel. Not exactly standing.

the bloke at the back is doing a suicide burntout which is basically sitting on the frint mud guard, he probably let go of the front and the back wheel griped caueing that to happen.
