That is why I cancelled my subscription a yr. ago. Car and driver has the company WIN when they pump out the most advertising $$$. They have been called out on that before. We have all seen vids where the Zo6 DESTROYS the others on the streets. Doubt it would the ACR viper, but why test the top offering from one company against non-top offerings of the others. ????? They wanted a test, they needed the ZR1 in there if they are putting in the ACR viper.

I saw this. Viper looks good, however, i don't think it should have been in the test. Perhaps a standard viper. haha cuz look at the lap times. the gt2, gtr, and z06 are similar, then look at the viper. way, way faster.
Regardless, they mention an odor in the vette. Yea, we got a new impala recently and it smells like old weed everytime we get in. I don't know what they are making their interior out of now, but it smells bad.

blah...besides, their so-called ranking are based off of opinion anyways, and their times are from the way they drive as well. Because if you read past mags they all have different times and fuel mileaage and what not. I hate magazine racers.
to prove how shitty they drive, they did a test back in 2001 of the Z/28 and they came up w/ a 1/4 mile of 13.8 @ 103 FOR THIER BEST in a 6 speed car........LOL... I ran better than that..WAY better bone stock, 13.3 @ 107 for me.

Car & Driver has alot of balls ranking the Nissan GT-R #1.
Not to knock the GT-R, but did anyone notice that all the cars except for the Nissan GT-R were in the high 11's and mid to high 120's MPH in the 1/4 mi The GT-R is nice, but it ain't a super car like the others. |

Magazine Formula for any comparison test dealing with a Corvette
#1 Find faster cars #2 If #1 fails, include some ambiguous category like "feel" or "driveability" that you can give the other car a clear win in.
