According to him anyway. Adam Carolla, on his show on KLSX today, announced he'll be one of the hosts of Top Gear USA. We've got no confirmation from anyone at NBC and frankly, we don't even know who to call to confirm it. But we've got to believe Adam if he's saying it. We mean, he was on the "Man Show" -- of course he's a reliable source. Guess that means there's only two slots left. Why do we feel like we're looking for a "golden ticket" in a sea of Wonka bars here? Wait a second, is that the Aston Martin V8 Vantage N24 behind Adam in the picture above? We feel like we've seen it somewhere -- like perhaps last season on Top Gear UK. Jeez, the guy's already starting to get acquainted with the toys used in the show from across the pond.

The guy on the left. Will it be as good as the real TG? Depends on how they do the show, hopefully they aren't gimicky and stick to the format TG is. But it will more than likely be a POS. If Jay Leno jumps on board I think they'll be on a good path

Adam carolla is a duesche bag, better than the brit hosts, but not by far.

i like adam he is a real car guy he owns some old x-race car datsun 510's hes pretty damn funny. i like him alot better than lenno thats for sure

As long as they don't NASCAR it how bad can it be, but then again it will most likely be on Speed channel which I'm sure all of you know that you can turn on speed at pretty much any time of the day and catch some NASCAR

of course it wont be better then the UK show. clarkson makes the show.im better it will be the same as the UK show. all the same plots .but with american cars.and lets face it there isnt a great deal of good american cars..

adam is a f'n nit wit, I could find a better host than that, I just hope they test badass cars like the real top gear.

Clarkson pretty much makes the show. Though I have to say that May is pretty hilarious too.
American humour is also just totally different from british humour.
And its funny that people would mention that Corolla knows lots about cars, because quite frankly Clarkson, Hammond and May dont know diddly squat about cars. They just pretend they do. Thats kind of what makes it funny. They're totally unscientific about every test they ever do. They're not afraid to show their biases or strong opinions.

well the american version of the office is pretty funny, so maybe they won't screw up the american version of top gear. I hope Adam knows a thing or two about cars, or how to drive them.

they will probably test the same stuff as TG but swap out the Uk's normal cars for ours.

they won't make a better Top Gear , but they could make a better "Vroom Vroom"

lol yer i know but it isnt full of american cars.in fact it probly has 2 american cars per season.and maybe 2 UK cars per season.

but as was said people make the show.and im sure TG isnt scripted.so it would be very hard to pull it off.they should just stick to the UK TG..
