2008 Dodge Viper SRT-10 - First Test - Motor Trend

Points to note:

0-30 mph: 1.6 sec (tied with a Corvette Z06 tested the same day)
0-60 mph: 3.7 sec (ditto)
0-100 mph: 7.9 sec (0.3 sec ahead of said Vette)
Quarter mile: 11.7 sec @ 124.4 mph (0.1 sec and 2.8 mph ahead of said Z06)

With 07 Z06 I believe. Nice numbers good to see they can beat the Z06 with a 100 more horsepower now.

haha, well numbers dont lie. Danica might but just now keepin up with the 100hp less z06 while good that it happened still shows alot.

The Viper is suppossed to be right with the Vette around the track too. Still Z06>Viper but thumbs up to Dodge for stepping their game up.

yes.... it is a nice car. looks great too.

but apparently the guys at Car and Driver just love the Z.

I don't want to bring this up, but whats going to happen whent the SS/ZR1 apprears?

anyways bottom line, the viper is nice, and yes... I would buy one, cuz it looks hellish.

Solid numbers by the viper. Its damn fast stock and probably the car of choice if you must have the fastest streetable car. No replacement for displacement.
