This last week Illien (for the ignorant ones: its the company that builds the McLaren Mercedes F1 engines ) was testing its new contender for the MotoGP in the Estoril circuit here in Portugal with Garry McCoy.
The results of those test are unknow but be sure that that bike spent most of the time going sideways, since Aussie rider Garry McCoy is the two wheel equivalent of The Drift King...
At the same time Yamaha and Ducati made their tests on their new for 2007 season 800cc rides, and rumour has it that the new Ducati GP7 is revving all the way up to 19000rpm.
This week the rest of the teams tested together and the atention went to the new Honda, that featured a bike with a very minimalistic design, with an extremely short rear. The engine is a 4cylinder version of their V5 of the current bike.
Missing from all these test was Kawasaki wich is said to be facing problems with engine realibility, having them colapse at testbeds.
