Montoya is gonna make a comeback to US racing after beeing put out of McLaren. Villeneuve might head to Nascar too, since he might retire from F1.
Seems NASCAR is getting interesting, only thing now is to do more road racing and update the tec in the cars. ![]() |

Agreed. The way I heard it though was that MOntoya was already going to Nascar, and announced it @ a recent Indy day while there as a guest of Gannassi. That was when McLaren let him go

I'm afraid you guys are a little outdated on your news. Shortly after Montoya's long ass press interview (26min) about going to Ganassi, Ron Dennis (McLaren team boss) said he might allow JPM to race again in the next event... have to be confirmed fully yet

speaking of updating the tec in the cars, i heard recently that next year the cars in NASCAR are going to feature front air splitters and have a different look up front and the old spoiler is going to be done away with and replaced with a carbon fiber wing.

I to be honest didn't really rate him that highly. Hasn't really done much in his time in F1.
