Didn't they change the Age to 18 if you are born after 1990? Unless that is just for California.

I didn't drive and buy my own car until I was exactly that age. I actually bought the car myself before I received my license. You're better off to ride with friends until then.

It is 16 here in in Illinois. At 15 you get a permit to drive with somebody that has a license.

When I lived in South Dakota the driving age was 14 (scary). By the way, where are you getting this information, 17.5? That sound f'ngay to me.

In CA, 16yr olds can drive w/ parents signature, which of course many parents don't allow cuz they know the risk
