Hello all the freak will be finally getting a 5.0 this summer thanks to my dad being a real friend and letting me pay him back at my comfort probably 200 every other week......depending on my paychecks more or less......and i was wondering what would the insurance be on a stock 5.0 for an 18 year old that has been in no auto wrecks and has taken a 30-day class to ensure safe driving habits.


(I passed the class with flying colors, but i dont drive safe alone just to let you know....nothing like maxing out the speed in a pontiac vibe 120+mph in a 30mph straight away )

t.issuez how much do you have to pay for insurance?

I know the road in the back of my head nobody drives on that road and i know every bump and anything on it so....im not retarded like some ricers and go around blind corners.....if you knew me or rode with me you would know im actually a good driver.....i dont have any friends that wont ride with me

Driving 120+ in a 30 means that you are in no way a good driver. If the speed limit is 30 there is probably a good reason.

all the back roads are in my county are 30 in seymour indiana the roads are a lot more hazardous narrower and closer to houses and trees and their limits are 50

so the speed limit doesnt really matter

plus i wont drive a 5.0 like that it would be my baby

You can make excuses all you want but doing 4x the speed limit means that you're an idiot. All it would have taken is one person/animal to go into the road and there is no way you would have stopped in time. Your dad should seriousl reconsider lending you the money for a car.

he does have his doubts and i see what you are saying and in the back of my mind i feel that i am an idiot for doing so the fastest i've gone on that road since then was 70( the road is seriously like a backroad highway

by the way, if you get a late 80s and get good grades as well as like a 500 deductible maybe even 250 you could prolly get away with 120 to 150 a month.

a 96 gt was 150 a month and i get decent grades so iguess i would be looking at that range

I know how you feel, the only time i got pulled over was when i barked my tires on accident on wet pavement in a turn from a stop light (which is hard not to do in a truck with bald tires) and my dad got the ticket taken care of since he is a clark county por. officer

but i know all the roads around where i live and just believe me I dont drive retarded all the time:mecry:

old vincennes state street
interstarte 264 and other major roads/backroads travelled

and 5.0freak change your driving habits... i'm 19 and just got my license back about 3 months ago (still on probation). it ****in sucks to see your shit get impounded for stupid shit.

oh, and i have liability only (SR-22) insurance<--mandatory for the next 2 years for $94/month. i'm sure you could find cheaper...
