If so, I know what you mean. I have a SR-22 and it cost me $390.00 alone, not to mention close to ten times the usual insurance premiums. :banghead:

Here's a question I think you should seriously think about: Is what could happen if you were busted for it worth the penalty ?

actually, i dont care about bieng busted. i've had my "own" insurance every single time i've gotten pulled over and every time i went to court (over 25 times all together). the only thing i didn't know with SR-22s is how they work. now i do and i know it'd be pretty damn hard to do it, and it was cheaper (for now) to just get real insurance. Fake sr-22 = $450 Real sr-22 = $246 down, $94 a month. I need either one as soon as possible so i just went with the real one, less hassle.

edit: and that price is for NO coverage to any car i drive...
