still great sound bad shifting and gross missfire system thing watever the name for it is. its annoying but does give great traction.

Or was it AWD tire hop? My brothers STI will do that when he shifts to second and all the tires start losing traction.

ooo my god people.... do any of u drive?? its a common missshift where the clutch and shift timing is not correct. if u try to shift to quick and u let the clutch out too soon it will grind and stick in neutral. ive done it before its not cool at all.

It was the clutch slipping.

what do u mean by "slipping" though? when i think of clutch slipping i think of lauching the car a little slower so the tires dont spin.

all this guy did was hit neutral for a second.

he could have an automatic transmission.. and it has soo much power.. that the gears are slipping and can't handle the power.. that happens sometimes..

if he had a standard tranny.. when he shifted into 2nd.. he could have shifted so hard, that the clutch couldn't "grab" the flywheel and was slipping. This can happen if the engine RPM's (flywheel) is going faster than the transmission (clutch) and they don't "grab."

This could be fixed with a much stronger 6 puck clutch or even a 4 puck.. with ALOT of clamping force.
