Old Audi Quattro Doing Dounuts
-The first thing you should do is take off the stupid BOV's.

-If you want a chip, get a GIAC. It has the most power and torque. The chip regulates the boost, you really don't need a boost controller in most cases.

-You don't need to worry about the head gasket on the stock turbos, up to almost 30 psi isn't a problem.

Aww i take it u dont like BOV's? Sad

So chip yes, boost controller no, and 30 psi Per Turbo or 15 Per turbo? Probably 15 since the stock turbos run 14 PSI together huh?

I don't like BOV's and they will make your car perform worse than stock. BOV's don't work well on cars with pull though MAF sensors.

Get some Bosch 710N diverter valves, they will perform much better and are cheaper.

You don't "add" boost pressures. Both turbos will provide about the same overall boost pressure but the flow rates are added. If you have 15 psi of manifold boost, both turbos are making approximately 15 psi.

I wouldn't go over 18 psi midrange and 14 psi at redline with the stock turbos. If you do, they won't last very long.

I think you need to learn a little more about turbos and how this engine works.

Well what does a diverter valve accomplish that is so much better then a blow off valve?

And if u dont add Boost then what is the need for a boost controller itself? So if i add a boost controler to my s4 there is no way to up the PSI?

The diverter valve recirculates the air through to the intake manifold. This means that you don't lose air to the atmosphere. A blowoff valve vents all the air to the atmosphere. This confuses the car's MAF and ECU system and will cause you to run rich. The car is designed to run with a diverter valve and you will have the best performance if you keep them.

If you add an MBC, you will not be able to raise the boost. You will only go into limp mode and the computer will get pissy with you.

There is no need for a boost controller. When you get a chip, this raises the boost automatically.

You can, alternatively, get recirculation fittings for most BOVs.

I have an HKS SSQV that is not going on my galant until I get off my lazy ass and get the recirc fitting/pipe.

A recirculating dump valve doesnt make a sound. I wouldnt bother getting a dump valve. Personaly i much prefer the sound of the actuator fluttering. Im not farmiliar with the audi engine so someone else might be able to tell u how to get that loud actuator flutter sound. With my old car it used to be a case of just putting a cone filter on and a large turbo.
