FF doesn't automatically mean understeer, nor does RWD mean oversteer. FF cars are more inclined to understeer due to the weight bias, but suspension changes can easily overcome this, the same goes for RWD. As for AWD cars, there are lots of factors in how it handles, for example EVO's have shown to be moderatele tail happy but STI's have shown some plowing on the track (stock of course).
