What type of car do you have? Is it a mechanical or a viscous LSD? If it is viscous and the fluid is not changed (it wears out) then it probably is barely an LSD by now. If you drift alot, you should change the LSD fluid (in a Viscous) every or oil change or two. When a wheel spins, the fluid heats in a microsecond and thickens, locking the diff. The more worn the fluid, the less it locks.
there are 1 way, 1.5 , and 2 way diffs. It has to do with how much lock up the unit has with leading and trailing throttle.
