I've posted this before in a livejournal group, and was called a liar, but this is what I saw and the guy said.
This black SRT-4 pulled up at school a couple weeks ago, and the guy was wanting to run someone. The fastest car at school is this SR20 240SX, and the guy was working on his car at the time and couldnt race. So we told him about this guy who flys around town in this 993 911 Turbo (pre 94). So he went to where the guy worked and asked him if he wanted to run his car.
So the guy agreed to race and met him out in front of school. They get a red light and line up. The SRT-4 starts to spool the turbo and the whole car starts shaking like crazy. The light turns green and the 911 Turbo didn't even have a chance. The tires chattered on the SRT-4 and it was gone, no wheelspin or anything. He left the Porsche by about 2 car lengths.
The guy comes back and pops the hood. Its got the Stage III Mopar upgrade with a huge Garrett turbo (cant remember the number). And said he had it boosted to 36psi. I've never heard of a car, except rally cars having that much boost. I don't know what his 1/4 mile time would be, but its enough to stomp a 993 off the line.
