drifting in stock cars is where everybody should start if you put alot of money into a car with suspension and other mods then what happens if you screw up which i will almost gaurentee you will atleast once. plus with a stock car you will learn more about the physics of drifting and be able to drift pretty much anything. but If you drift a car built specifically for drifting then itll be pretty much the only car youll be able to drift in.

as for overhauling it pretty much means rebuilding something. lsd's have moving parts and with all moving parts comes wear and if you have an old one and you drive it hard then it will wear down. so replaceing lsd's every now and then isnt a bad idea.

my advice would be to take it slow drifting is a sport of driving finess not droping 10k into your car.
