Default Why are V8's usually SC not TT?

I think most Americans prefer the SC.
It isn't that their are not any TT v8 engines...it's more of a "why TT?".

You see more TT applications with the smaller engined cars....and it is more typically a "ricer" add-on.
Plus...in TT you are talking a much more involved process. I think someone here already said something along those lines.
