You can build a KA with forged rods and pistons with a nice t3/t4 and larger injectors and an Emanage for the price of just buying (not shipped, not installed) an SR20DET. At that point you could have about 300hp at the wheels. If you went without the Emanage and had a standalone fuel management system and larger injectors, you can get400-450 hp at the wheels. All for about the same cost as a lightly modded SR that might have 250-300 hp.

A KA can do 500ish hp
An Sr about the same maybe slightly more but for 10's of thousands of $
The RB depends on which one you want.
RB20 is good for about 450hp
RB25 is good for about 650hp
RB26 is good for 1200+ hp
RB30 is good for 1400hp
