The problem with my car, not counting the turbo as you say, is my timing is getting too advanced, thus giving me high counts of knock, I believe having a chip set for the 650cc injectors will solve that problem.

i wouldnt reccomend a 20g, though they are a great turbo. for the price i would suggest going with a PTE 50 trim, they are excellent turbos and are relatively cheap. dont get me too wrong, the 60 trim is an awesome turbo for track and dyno usage, but nothing much for a street car. in order to get it to spool somewhat early you would have to be using nitrous or a 2.3l or 2.4l engine. the very nice thing about DSMlink is that you can control your timing and fully monitor knock, along with everything else you could ever imagine. what kind of timing are you getting? anywhere from 18-22 degrees is perfect, anywhere above 22 degrees advance timing and your pushing the limits. though, alot of the guys with AFC's are running damn near 32 degrees of timing, now with programs like DSMlink it seems as though tuning with a logger and AFC is dark age tuning. i also think that anywhere up to 6 counts of knock is "safe", if you would call it that. anywhere below 3 counts of knock is prefferable though, anywhere below three counts of knock and you wont get timing retard either. the chip will give you a very good baseline, but your still going to have to fine tune it, of course. also, on that large of a turbo, part of the problem may be your injectors...they are pretty small for that turbo. i run 650's on my 16g and i still hit over 100% injector duty at times. i would suggest something at least in the 700cc range for that turbo. do you have any of your logs saved? if so, send me one and i will review it.
