Not really news, but I just rented this a week ago and it's an awesome movie, I had seen step into liquid by the same creator (Dana Brown) and loved it even though I don't really care about surfing.

what's wrong with you people? Dust to Glory is boring rubbish.
I got sucked in by the flashy trailer and pre-ordered the dvd before it hit the shelves. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. The trailer makes it out to be a fast paced full-on action desert racing experience, but actually the trailer is ALL of the action. There is NOTHING else. The rest of the movie is of the boring, slow paced, surfy-dude style narration and interviews of Dana Brown. Not what you would expect of the Baja 1000.

I thought the movie was excellent.

But if your simple minded, you'll get bored with the lack of action. It is a documentary.
