i would liek to know one thing....
400HP and how much Torque? cuz to smoke a mustang you don't need ponys you need torque and thats something honda engines lack...
if you want a good mix that has good torque and HP go with the CRV block and a gsr head then you put a turbo and boom also slap in a LSD and drop suspension strut bars and stabalizer bars and your car will be great...anything else you want to do to the engine go for it...it will give you the best of both worlds torque and hp and its not that heavy of an engine so not so bad...
but for traction problems best bet would be go look for race tires (they ware fast) very very fast but they will give you some traction, slicks also but most slicks are not street legal...other then that i would say don't put the petal to the floor when launching lol even if you don't have him on the take off you will have him the rest of the way
